There are so many delicious restaurants in Kentucky. There is no food like southern food and Kentucky cuisine is at the top of the list as far as I am concerned. No I am not just talking about Kentucky Fried Chicken or Parkette Drive In, even though I love them both. I love being able to find new, great, restaurants, a hole in the wall diner or a more upscale establishment, there are so many options in Kentucky to chose from.
We enjoy traveling around the state, and always ask locals. If you could eat one meal within 15 miles of where we are right now, where would you go? When we here the same place over and over, we try it out!

The Rootbeer Stand
A popular Corbin drive-in made famous for their rootbeer floats and chili buns. This establishment is only open seasonally (March-October). Arrive early to get a parking spot because it tends to get very busy around lunch and dinner times.
The Wrigley Taproom and Brewery
This is a locally owned restaurant which offers full farm-to-table menu, sourced from local farmers.

Brie’s Brews Coffeehouse
A locally owned coffee house which features many options of hot drinks, frozen drinks, and more. They also often host local artists and musicians so you can enjoy the entertainment and a cup of coffee.
A local downtown favorite known for their hot dogs and chili Weaver’s is now a popular place to visit for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They now offer so much more than hot dogs and chili.
**Update** In February, 2015 Weaver’s was destroyed by a massive fire. The Weaver
family has since opened two new locations. Weaver’s Landing is located at the
London-Corbin Airport and Weaver’s on 4th is located in downtown London.
Louisville, Kentucky Restaurants
From Shrimp and Grits to Veal Tenderloin, Jack Fry’s on Bardstown Road is sure to please. Jack Fry’s is one of the oldest and most respected restaurants in Louisville. Enjoy your dinner in their dimly lit dining room with a tin ceiling and black and white photographs covering the walls.
This restaurant is often forgot because it’s downtown, on a one way street. You will find Hillbilly Tea located across the street from White Castle.
Wagner’s has been a Louisville tradition since 1922, especially with the crowd at Churchhill Down’s. Grab a barstool and enjoy your meal. You never know what horse racing personalities may drop by.
Home of the Hot Brown, The Brown Hotel, built in 1923, offers some of the finest dining in Louisville. The Hot Brown is now a popular menu item at many Kentucky establishments. If you have never had a Hot Brown, you sincerely must!
Located on the 25th floor of the Galt House Hotel this restaurant offers fine dining and an amazing view from this revolving restaurant. Yes, I said revolving. While you are dining you are slowing revolving around which gives you the chance to see some beautiful views of the riverfront in downtown Louisville.
